Welcome! It was a rather bleak night when this blog was conceived, indeed one may conclude that the oppressive weather had a hand in twisting our collective arm behind our back to make good on our call for the apathy to cease. Over the last decade we have become dissolutioned, but not in the traditional sense. Our great disappointment is the lack of interest shown by the current generation - our generation - in regards to pressing political, ethical, social and environmental issues that present themselves every day.

We hope for others to resist this apathy that has overwhelmed our youth and join with us in creating a diverse and interesting discourse.

We are concerned. Concerned that the average Australian of voting age neither cares about nor understands the important issues facing our society. We are also hopeful that things will get better!

WMD is a jack of all trades, master of none. A consummate writer and easy going debater, he has the streak of a revolutionary and will use all the power of his prose to get his message across.

SYL is an urban planner, avid cyclist and is also a somewhat profligate writer. A strong political upbringing has given him strong ethical compass and this is reflected in his occasionally disjointed diatribes.
